Stylista [Season 1, Episode 7] -- Part 1

From the creators of Project Runway and America's Next Top Model comes the fashion world's newest reality television creation - Stylista. In the series, eleven aspiring fashionistas face weekly scrutinous challenges under the leadership of Elle's Fashion News Director, Anne Slowey. A tough person to please, Slowey will inspect the contestants' performances after each challenge and with the help of her team ultimately choose a winner. Although the work throughout the competition is quite difficult, the winner will be rewarded for their hard work with a paid editorial position at Elle, a paid lease on a New York City apartment, and an allowance at H&M for one year - an overall package with a value of $100,000.

Stylista is produced by 10x10 Entertainment, Bankable Productions, Magic Molehill Productions, and Warner Horizon Television. The series has been given an 8 episode order for its first season.

I loved how the Elle staff can behave like expoiled brats: Anne's comment about Katie having her "own Jackson Pollock" when one of the dogs made a shit / peed on the floor was hilarious in the sense that Anne and Maggie look like rich bitches who make an effort to behave like... well, rich bitches.

They are treating the contestants unfairly, but I think that they're just acting to test the contestants. It isn't the contestants' fault that the dogs are poorly trained. That being said, it is important that the contestants learn how to deal with these kinds of problems with coolness if they wish to succeed.

I actually get the reason why the other dislike Katie... but somehow I think they just want Katie to change so badly... in fairness to her, she actaully puts up good things too.
