  • Cleaning up politics isn't as easy as cleaning your dishes.

  • When PR goes badly wrong

  • Also fited a NEW £28,000 KITCHEN in no 10 courtesy of brittish tax payer!

its like mad maggie and hitler all rolled in to one!

    EVIL DICTATOR.

    OWNED BY MURDOCH!

  • coming from the bloke who claimed back 27p of stationary.

    hipercritical evil dictator!

  • Yes David, Immigration needs to be dealt with too, vote bnp.

  • As the Conservatives need to be seen to be whiter than white if they are to have any faith in restoring public confidence, when we will be told what George Osborne was discussing at this years Bilderberg conference? Or for that matter what was David Cameron doing there in 2008?

If it was related to his job, will we see his expenses and details of the goings on there? If it wasn't will he return a few days salary? No, thought not.

See Charlie Skelton's Bilderberg despatches in the Guardian.

  • Article on thisislondon web site today on the Golden Goodbyes MP's receive when leaving parliament. £10m paid to just over 200 MP's leaving parliament following the election. Let's see what measures are put in place to sort that out. I suggest 1 months salary as an adequate resettlement grant.

While they begin sorting out public sector pensions I suggest they set an example and start with their own over generous pension fund.

Still, some good rhetoric so far, let's see if they deliver.

  • A piece by Francis Maude in 30 May 2010 the Telegraph heralds a new era of transparency.

Cool, Francis Maude Minister for the Cabinet Office and Paymaster General is going to be responsible for spilling the beans.

  • 3 days later and David Laws has now been replaced by Danny Alexander. What do we discover? Danny boy used a dubious but legal wheeze to avoid paying capital gains tax on a house sale. Not a smart thing to emerge when the Lib Dems are pressing for rises in CGT and Nick Clegg has been highly critical of MPs flipping homes. 2 Lib Dems exposed in very short order. Still, Cameron is the PM and is responsible for appointees to his government.

At least the press are cleaning up politics. MPs won't.

  • 'We've got to the cleaning up politics bit first, BEFORE we move on and to actually what we're going to try to do for Britain'.

3 weeks into a new government and David Laws claims expenses for renting a room from his partner. Tory party doners get seats in the Lords. The Conservative party receive donations linked to Syrian and Lebanese arms dealers involved in the Saudi/BAE investigation and the deal which led to Aitkin's resigning.

Don't shit in your own stable if you're trying to muck it out.
