This was just your basic subway elevator here. I remember it being installed fairly recently, less than a few years ago. This is right in front of the Staten Island Ferry terminal.

  • What was the siren going off in the background for on floor C? I heard it stop for a few seconds on your second ride down to C, then right as the elevator doors opened up, it started going off again. Every train station I've been to doesn't have a siren to warn you when a train is pulling up. lol

  • @kokogarlich the siren is because people went thru the emergency exit. sometimes people use the emergency exits to beat the fare so the alarms there so the cops/ticket booth can be alerted to possible fare-beaters

  • @ih8thyssenkrupp It's amazing that people think that they can get away with stuff like that, and it really just delays them longer because the cops end up stopping these people and asking them why they're in such a hurry to get through.

  • @kokogarlich people get away with this probably more than 1000 times a day. you can't get a cop in every subway station

  • Next time your film with the TX10, take some still pics. :)

  • @cannycart this was on the W290. notice the 720P
