Ok, blame it on the speculators, OPEC, Bush, China. But the real blame is "Peak Oil" do a google search "Life After the Oil crash". You'll see why this will be the doom of our civilization. We're runnin' on empty...

Stop crying on oil price rizing.Barrel of 160 litters of oil paid to opep 138.0 dollars sold by company 238.00.We let the companys doing what they want .We can stop them we are the customers.Star petition for company nationalisation all over the world.And promise to dont vote to politicians who ar doing nothing now.

Sorry, but i do not trust bush's hand in this. at one time i did. I do believe that he has opportunity and ability to affect these things, directly and indirectly. i pray for this country and its government. meanwhile, i do like your initial statement at the top of the page.

How is it obvious? Ill tell you what he can control. He can try to lobby tax breaks for local American oil companies to try to help their success but he has no control over the amount of oil OPEC produces.

You think he has no influence on alternative transportation methods..Yea right!
