i feel you. i have the exact same condition as you and surgery has helped a little. i've recently learnt that this is a reality that i will eventually have to come to accept. Not easy though we will all be alright . Im a regular 22 yr old and yeah, not something that anyone would want to deal with
Hi, thanks 4 ur video, because it's a window of how people with strabismus feel. However, u should not let rule ur life or spend so much time in something so little. Easy to say for me? Well there are so many other important issues and obviously u can and have many skills to help other people &make peoples lifes better. Ok eyes r important but I love people for their ideas &what they do, not what they look like, specially ur yes, nobody can choose their eyes, but u can be a good human being.
I was born with Strabismus, my right eye turns in. I had surgery but it was worn off. I'm saving some money to take vision therapy. It's expensive. Strabismus is just one of the hurdles we encounter in life. And it supporting each other that really lightens the burden. Thanks for your video.
I was born with strabismus.. i hate it when i see a child or young adult in that situation.. i practically had to beg my dad to get me into surgery when i was 14. Come to find out, the surgery is simple and in-expensive. I just want people to know, its easy to correct, and doesnt cost a fortune... your self esteem will shoot through the roof once its done.
I suffer from this. Had my first surgery at 3 years old and it returned when I was about 8.
I am due to have surgery again on Monday 4th June as I am fed up of people not maintaining eye contact with me and staring at me. Dont let it get you down !
I was also born with Strabismus. I had only one surgery when I was two but in High School my other eye starting going out. I'm in my 20's and have enough control to pull it in to see double (better to see double, then have someone see your eye turning out) I'm gonna take vision therapy. Will not do another surgery because they don't work. All they do is cut your muscle so your eye looks straight at rest. Eventually it will go out, or in, again.
what are Bates methods?

I was crosseyed too, but it was all fixed with glasses that I used to wear for a year when I was 6.
The problem began to apear again when I was 13 but I did some Bates' method and it helped.
