At this moment I still prefer a NIva because thieves don't steal them as other 4x4 cars, but I wouldn't say Vitara is crap at all.

O Vitara estava desligado e com o motor de partida sem funcionar, então o niva simplesmente puxou para descolar e ligar meu carro, mas depois q ligou o motor, a continuação do video dever mostar o niva sendo arrastado! Was this a set up to simply drag the Vitara? I will not say things like Vitara would have won easily cos I simply dont Know, But, what I DO KNOW is that it should have put up a FAR better fight than that, I am currently on my 2nd Grand Vitara 2.0 petrol,first was manual,2nd one is auto and know them to be FAR more capable than this portrays. Nothing at all against Niva though,remember them from my youth and they were highly respected.

@godzillaisnuclea123 how you respond is like being fan of something and support it even when it does not make any sense.We all got you love Rovers.We do not talk about which brand has more axle articulation.I am not a fan or loyal follower of any brand of offroader,It doesnt mean that I may not share my experience. I drove all well known offroaders. I smiled at stucked Defender while I was passing by with niva. If I have to pick a stock vehicle for getting from A to B in the woods, its a niva.

@finehuck these dont have much axle articulation compared to live axled coils sprung landrovers,nivas have independent suspension on the front meaning it lifts it's wheels off the ground more easily resulting in less traction.

@godzillaisnuclea123 have you driven Niva? Perhaps the explaination is the distribution of Weight and having a short WB. but niva ,for all the offroaders who drove it, is the ultimate stock offroad vehicle. If you swap the engine with a diesel you have a bulletproof drivetrain which will never let you down. Bring any stock 4x4 ,def 110, fj80, pajero, wrangler or whatever.as long as you come stock you have no chance to keep up with Niva. its a proven fact. check "niva vs the rest of the world"

The most of the commenst are just nonsense. Maybe they played soo much PS3. I owned both niva and vitara. They have different drivetrain. Niva has a lockable central diff and lower gear box, permanent AWD. Vitara; manual front hubs, rear wheel drive, transfer case makes it 4wd and lower gear box is available. You can not steer Vitara with Transfer case so can not be called AWD. limited use with big risk of destroying the Tcase. Vitara has no any advantage over Niva. check "niva vs the rest"
