our work patterns no longer necessitate living in conurbations... so many of us could live in smaller communities, more appropriate for human life, working through the internet... with ocassional visits to cities for entertainment or work purposes...
if more of us are chosing to live in more rural areas, are we going to infect these areas with our busy way of life (urbanisation), or are we going to learn to live more attuned to the natural world (ruralisation)?
and will it only be the rich who manage this transference, leaving cities to the poor who end up financing the equity-owners?
