while I believe Thomas conducted a thorough investigation, I do not think he made a good case in his book for excluding Santa Bill. There are only 2 reasons given for excluding him, , i.e. the ransom note (did not match his handwriting) and his frailty after surgery. The frailty argument doesn't hold up because of his trip to Europe a mere 10 days later, & some say that the handwriiting was not so dissimilar as to exclude him.

Steve Thomas was a narcotics detective and had zero experience in homicides. Why was he even investigating this case?

@rosevillmb Look at the Martha Moxley murder case(1975), because the people next door were rich the police never did their job and then finally got the guy in 1997, it was a sick twisted son of the rich parents. The murder weapon was a golf club right from the set of clubs in the killers families house, if the police treated everyone like normal people it would have been solved in a short time.

Boulder police screwed up this case much worse than the LAPD in the OJ case. I do believe it was one of the Ramseys. Pretty sure its Patsy.

cont'd. The intruder would have had to get JonBenet down the stairs w/o making any noise and how would he accomplish this? A stungun (what are those mysterious round rust-coloured marks?) Duct tape? Hitting her on the head first? or Did she go willingly because she knew the attacker? Plus, the rope around the garotte - wouldn't that have skin cells embedded in it from the attacker twisting the knots? or if there aren't any cells, he must have worn gloves sometimes: points to an intruder.
