Without a doubt the greatest one punch KO in boxing history.
Marciano was losing on all cards and Walcott was not set up for this at all, not hurt or anything. Most KOs result from a flurry or combination, with a man in trouble. But this one epitomizes a one punch, come from behind, clean KO (like a bolt from the blue) to win the heavyweigh title. How many times has that happenned?

Marciano beat a great fighter. I watched a movie about Marciano, he lost his temper once and started hitting a Chevy, when he got through hitting it, the car looked totaled.

i like marciano but a prime liston might have too much,,,arm reach of 84 inches with paralyzing power might have been marcianos undoing,,,but you never know

around 1960 marciano was making serious plans to fight liston, he was not at all afraid of sonny, like so many other fighters at that time.
