Ήρθαν οι μέρες οι καλές(το τραγούδι της εξομολόγησης)/Irthan oi meres oi kales(to tragoudi tis exomologisis)/The good days have come(the song of confession)

Το τραγούδι αυτό χορευόταν στο χωριό Άγιο Πνεύμα Σερρών τη δεύτερη μέρα του Πάσχα,μπροστά στην εκκλησία της Αγίας Παρασκευής όταν τελείωνε η περιφορά των εικόνων στο χωριό.Λέγεται "Το τραγούδι της εξομολόγησης",αν και είναι επίσης γνωστό και ως "Ήρθαν οι μέρες οι καλές",από τον πρώτο στίχο.Και τα δύο έθιμα,η περιφορά των εικόνων και το τραγούδι της εξομολόγησης,διατηρούνται μέχρι σήμερα.
This song was danced in the village of Aghio Pnevma of Serres on the second day of Easter,in front of the church of Aghia Parakevi,when the procession of the Holly Icons ended.It is called "The song of Confession",though it's also known as "The good days have come",from the first verse.Both these customes,the procession of the Icons and the song of confession are observed till today.

*paen'=Μacedonian variant (though it's used in some other Greek dialects too) of standard Greek πηγαίνει=(he/she/it) goes.
*zimbogi=violet
*mavros=this idiomatism,to use metaphorically the word mavros(black) for denoting the horse,is inherited by the Byzantine tradition of the akritic epic songs.
*limori=grave
