This video was done a few years ago when my brother had just an ordinary video camera.

The whole thing started when I found out it had a device to animate things on it. At that time you could only get 4 frames per second on it, so please forgive me if this animation is a bit slow and jolty.

I only recently got this converted to DVD, as for a long time I was a bit worried that it would deteriorate being only on a VHS format.

However, I am really pleased that the quality was not too bad and it's still watchable even though it's been played many times.

I really hope this encourages newbies, who start animating for the first time (like myself). To keep pursuing it further and not allow others to destroy your dreams.

Anyhow enough of the explanations, please sit back and enjoy...

  • Wow over 8000, the best I've had yet!

    Thanks everyone!

  • Wow that must have taken alot of time. Good work.

  • Thanx 4 the kind comment, really appreciate it!

It took about 3 weeks in all, you'll probably notice a few mistakes like:

1 Lighting (didn't allow for daylight motion)

2 Marks on the carpet (where I kept kneeling down and adjusting the toys)

3 Sofa moving back (where my clever father insisted on sitting on that chair and moved it) AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!

I think the worst of it, was putting up with the nagging lol!

I hope my mum don't see that bit lol!!!

  • omg how do u do this i wanna be an animator when im older for things like spongebob but i dont know how so please add my msn and tell me how please its lukeninjas@hotmail.com

  • Part 3

The only other thing to think of is lighting, a desktop lamp is a good thing to use, but you must careful not to move the light too much as it will make alot of dancing shadows on your film.

Also try to use a firm surface, not like I done it makes marks on the carpet, where you keep moving your figures around on...

  • Part 4

I hope this has been a good explanation for you.

Just wanna say one last thing without sounding nasty, don't ever leave your email on the youtube comments!

Anyone can see it and misuse it!

    Keep safe!

    Robby!!!
