  • Im sitting at about 3050 without me in it. the car has about 375 to the tires. ive got no cats, 3" exhaust, underdrive pulley, headers, factory ls6 intake, ported tb, and the lingenfelter gt2-3 cam (forced induction cam). ive got a magnacharger that im throwing on there soon.

  • @firechicken76 damn that sounds freak'n nice man! definitely looking forward for that video!!

  • Hey bud!! Super nice job. I just got a 91 GTA and am putting in a LQ4 with 80e behind it. and am trying to stray away from getting my harness retrofitted to work with stock cluster. Could you by chance tell me the part number of your cluster pod nd gauges and how you hooked them up? Am i in the right ball park? As in not having to retro fit my stock LQ4 harness to work with it?

  • @Travlsx the gauges work by themselves and use the signals without using the ECM. ex the thermostat has to be installed in the cylinder or in the water pump (these gauges are VERY PRECISE) you shouldnt have alot of problems with the signals if you hook them up individually to their respective gauges, then your gonna have to calibrate them. its a long and tedious process, i know! unfortunately they are all DIGITAL, so if you have a mechanical sensor i recommend going thru dakota digital to fix it

  • does a 350 fit right into the 2.8l v6 89 rs? i wonna drop the v6 for a v8 the guy i got it from said a 350 would fit right in without having to change the transmission

  • @rptryhard a 350 would fit very nicely into our 3rd gens. if your crazy and want to go bigger it is possible as well like for example a 427 with little modifications. is yours a auto or t5? if you got a 5spd you cant put in long tubes due to clearance issues since our cars are naturally low and the driver side header hits the hydraulics of the tranny. good luck and sounds like a nice summer project!

  • nice setup you have there, im liking the gauges! ive got an 88 gta, 02 ls1/t56/9". id say a good guess on your HP would be about 325 to the tires.do you know what your car weighs? check out my vids.

  • @mgg4591 u sure can! there are a couple of ways u can have A/C. u can notch your K-member to place the compressor to its original location, or you can buy brackets to sit them higher to the engine.you need some relocation brackets obviously. i installed mine just recently and worked well! the only thing is that i have a bad compressor. got the ac lines thru hawks. but you can always go to a performance shop to get ya some custom lines. hope i helped!
