Stayed there at the holiday homes in the harbour in March 2007 and the week before we were there a couple had been swept off the harbour wall in a strom and killed. It might look idealic but weather like that is a killer.

Gorgeous place in any weather, we stopped in Camelia cottage right on harbour front it was fantastic watching the sea..

Keep well away from that(and other) harbour wall in anything like threatening weather, people have died there being swept over, remember in lesser conditions it may be O.K. but there is the "Seventh Wave" to think about!

why is there a car parked next to the friggin harbour wall??? i have background in life guarding and this is my home village we are looking at, could these people not use their legs- everyone knows not to park there let alone at high tide in a storm. It is stupidity like this that led to two people being swept to their deaths here last year. Putting the lives of our coastguards and other people in danger when things go wrong.
P.S 'Mullionites' is the official name for people from Mullion : )
Awesome video - I just wish people visiting our village would check these videos out before taking a stroll down the harbour wall in a storm!!! Just today I had to shoo 6 people off the end of the harbour where waves had been coming over - and got moaned at!!! Are these people for real? Our volunteer crews do an amazing job, but they could do without having to go out in storms because of clueless idiots with no respect for the ocean!!
You got a 5 * from me!! x

Been there a few times and I find myself drawn there. Magical place, and it's where I proposed to my wife. Never seen it in a storm though. We stayed in the small holiday cottage in a small quadrangle just down from the hotel. Puffin was the name of the cottage. Not sure if they are still there though.
