    Or just a really fucked up gun. Reliable doesn't mean indestructible. Reliable only means it will keep firing assuming it's in semi stable condition. Almost every AK that has been manufactured has lived a hard life. Rarely cleaned, likely corroded, thousands upon thousands of rounds fired, dirt, and so on. If I was given the choice between a 20 yr old cared for AR-15, or a 20 yr old, beaten, dirty, AK, I don't care how "reliable" the AK is, if I think it's corroded, I'm taking the AR.
