He only made 2 bond films as I believe there was a legal dispute which led to a delay of 6 years-ish between films (Goldeneye). Real shame, but atleast we have 2 good films and none bad unlike some of the other Bonds.

One of the most underrated Bond's, he should have took over after Connery, Roger Moore = worst Bond, Dalton suited the Role.

I love the "no bullshit" attitude of Dalton's Bond movies. They don't baby you with a lot of cheesy situations and bad lines (although there are still a few). It's very no nonsense and I like how dark they came out to be. He still remained suave and collected, but in more of a "bad boy" way, if you will, where the other Bonds before him had been just straight up gentleman. In my opinion, Dalton's movies were some of the best Bonds and had the best intro songs. Wish he was still playing Bond.

Timothy Dalton - the most underrated Bond and simply a very very good Bond. Better than Moore and marginally less-so to Brosnan and Connery. The jury is out on Craig I'm afraid. GIve Dalton the credit he deserves - The Living Daylights and Licence To Kill were great films
