Turn regular handmade soap into Shiny Soap!
Use any cold process or hot process soap for this. I usually do mine before they are cured but you can also do it after the cure.

  • may I ask,....Does gelling your soap add any extra benefits to the soap?? or do you simply do it to achieve a different appearance??

  • @hubbywifeychildrens Gelling speeds up saponification and the bars cure faster if the bars are gelled. Other than that, it doesn't matter too much if the soap is gelled or not gelled.

  • Does this work with ungelled soap too? Looks fabulous!

  • @TheSoaperstar Yes, should work with ungelled soaps, too but make sure they are firm enough to get dunked in water.
