@shj346 lol @ 'protecting'. It was a loopy throw in that he could simply have stepped back to avoid. I can't believe people keep saying Inzy felt he was in danger from that throw when he faces (and dominates) many top class fast bowlers.
I won't quote the whole of Law 37 as I know you won't read it, but this part is quite important..."This shall apply whether or not there is any disadvantage to the fielding side". So whether there may or may not have been a run out has NOTHING to do with it.

@Malincanada @shj346 Yes and the clear example is you, This law is there to ensure that the batsman is not obstructing the field by wish (to get some runs, to avoid run out etc) and here its clear that Inzi has no intent of obstructing the field he is just protecting himelf against the ball. Do you say he should have face the ball on his body? Further, this was never going to be a run out . So common sense says it wasnt obstructing the field, So, you cant apply that rule here, FULL STOP.

Inzy is a nice,funny chap...........for a batsman of his calibre,he does not know RULES......no wonder rameez raja breaks into laughter........rameez always enjoys interviewing inzy....in ENGLISH......
