We were field duck hunting on this mallard hunt where we took our time to take a limit of mostly drakes.

  • This is why it always pays off to have a dedicated camera man. I'm positive theres more than a few ducks shot out of screen. You may not shoot as many birds as quickly, and I know its difficult to trade the gun for the camera, but once you veiw the footage you'll see there is no comparison between affixing your camera on a tripod, as opposed to camera man. Try it next time, start one guy as your camera man and once someone shoots 4 or 5 birds have them swap for the camera.
