Yamaha RD 500 (RZV500) - Running with lot of smoke after restoration

RD500, runs perfectly on every cylinder with a lot of delicious smoke.. its like a fog-thrower :-) A absolute amazing "must see" clip for every fan of the 2-strokers out there!

It's funny that americans make 2-strokes illegal, but make trucks with 6litre 200hp turbodiesel engines that do 20-30L/100km when they could be reliable with 3litre 200hp turbodiesels doing 10-15L/100km.. Bring 2-smokes back and ban the big diesels eh?;)

@eamh2002 i have a 2 strokes in my collection and nothing about them is illegal, the emissions may have changed, heaven forbid we stop polluting so much.... two strokes we're made for power and that was it, now people have to be more "aware of the enviroment" you know the bit but nothing says we cant pull them out on weekends and turn a few heads

@eamh2002 2 strokes will make a comeback. Just need to work on electronic direct cylinder injection and piston ported supercharged with a wet sump. Then 2 strokes wont burn oil, wont waste fuel and save lots of energy from valvetrain loses and that extra revolution.
