This is a very moving story and a good indication of why we're absolutely right to protest and inform about the sinister nature of Scientology.

On tactics, though, the guy in the silly mask in the background distracted and trivialised the whole thing. I understand and support the 'anonymous' idea, but demonstrating is an honest, open activity, and is much more powerful with an open face. You can't communicate by mumbling from behind a mask. You need eye contact and a clear voice.

In hindsight, you're probably right. Alot of people seemed intimidated by the faceless masses, and were hesitent to ask for more information.

My own mask was actually fairly small by comparison and only obscured the top part of my face, so people found it alot easier to approach me to discuss things. I had some great conversations with passers by, some other ex-scientologists, and even a policeman or two!

This is a good example of why this protest is right to do. Has nothing to do with religion or religious freedom. Very good video. Needs to shared all around.
