Winifred Atwell - Fings ain't wot they used t'be

A request has flooded in for another video featuring my Dansette 'Major' record player. (Thanks Jon, I'll pay you later).
This record from Winnie was one of the last she recorded for Decca at about the same time as the record player was made. (1960).

Winnie had such a great way of articulating her fill-ins and runs. Even after all these years it still has me mentally gasping in amazement and admiration for her remarkable technique - and feeling so frustrated that I can't do it.
