Taking our 2 brand new Hobie Tandem Islands out in 20+ mph winds that gave us speeds from 8 to 12mph. One with Tramps and one with out. The Trampolines did not appear to negatively affect the performance. The sails were fully unfurled.

Does it sail better solo if you sit in the back seat? Looks a tad back-heavy. But I guess it's a lot drier like that regardless

I just got my tandem about a week ago. I am in love with it.. I've been a long time catamaran sailor, windsurfer,big boat, etc... I have been sailing my yak almost daily.. Light wind, medium wind, some heavy.. Too damn much fun.. This is the best money I've spent in along time.....

Nice vid. Very flat water for 20+ mph winds! Noticed the bow was getting a fair bit of 'air' - did that increase your weather helm?
