I attemped to pay for our 1st date...and I took HIM out our 3rd date. He married me 6months later and we've been married for a year now. I now pay for nothing:-) and he treats me as his queen. Get your game ladies!

This is true. I mean I feel realllly weird letting a guy pay, just as I'm sure a lot of females do, because of my background. I was taught that nothing is just going to be handed to me. I definitely appreciate and encourage a guy paying for the date because that's chivalrous. And I think that while it's nice for the guy to pay, the girl can pay every now and then, or like he said get the tip. BUT I do think that if the girl is going to offer to pay then she needs to be prepared to do so.

@SazonDReyes. I would never take you out on a date with that attitude. I agree guys are supposed to pay and I would never let my date pay. But it's the thought that counts.

I NEVER pay on dates. I don't even pretend to want to pay. I don't have to prove anything. Men are suppose to pay for everything on dates. It's called being a gentleman. I'll pay for half the meal once he's officially my man. I'll pay for everything when I feel like treating him once he's my man.
