Webb just barely got elected and if he gets replaced they're going to feel like a bait and switch scam was pulled on them.

Bad Idea to take a Sitting Senator when the Democrats are lining up an increase of their Senate Majority by 5 Seats. There are too many Governors and more.

I happen to be a big fan of Webb* and was refering to his holding of elected offices.
We'd still be better off with Chris Dodd or Bob Kerry.
Webb has done a couple of things that would make him easy picking in a VP race.
*As a Senator.

Please do your homework, he was Secretary of the Navy under Reagan. He's spent his entire life working for the federal government.
