I was confronted by a knife attacker last night and it was obvious in the first few seconds, I'm not going to be blocking or disarming him with any fancy techniques.

I simply saw my opening and ran for it. Better to have wounded pride than wounded vital organs.

It's so refreshing to find someone willing to buck tradition for the sake of sound sensibility. Most dojo style teachers never teach combat style knife technique. I had to find a dvd made by the IDF trained guy Mike in order to learn real knife combat. The Hagana system is both efficient and brutal because knife fighting is well and truly life and death. This is the same sensibility you have and I admire you for it! You're doing good work Luke, thank you for all you've done!

until you come to ATL im outta luck i live in Tn good instructors and people with an open mind to train with are hard to come by in this state its all about tkd and generic mma gyms if you know of any good krav maga instructors in the area of middle tn please let me know
