As far as I know, there were about 50 twitter users in Iran at the time of protests. Many of the posts are sent from other places than Iran. In fact twitter is not popular in Iran at all compared to facebook and other sites. My family back in Iran are online 24/7 but they had not even heard about twitter when I asked them. This guy is just downgrading the Noble peace prize by even thinking about twitter. This is more like a joke! period.

Nope. Often times I don't have enough space to voice my opinion here, and this is 500 characters. What knowledge can be shared with 150 characters? (by the way, I just went over that limit on the "R" from "characters")

The founders of Twitter delayed the "tuning" of their software because it was in their best financial interest to do so. You'd have to be stupid to have your system down for any routine maintenance during this transformational moment in your company's history. There is no better advertisement. Twitter usage is about to explode. More users = better IPO valuation. You don't get a nobel prize for that. If anyone should get it, it should be the demonstrators.
