I have owned Camry's since the very first 1983 model. They are the best. Just for information, Toyota called the first Camry the 1983 1/2 model, because it came out new in during the summer of '83. There are some features that I enjoyed that have disappeared, however, such as the unique fuel gage. But it is still a testimony to Japanese engineering (yes, I know, it has had some bad publicity lately).

i have a 96 camry right now but down the road i want to buy a 2002 camry. you can do so much with these cars, there really easy to take care of.

@friedie1jeff The new ones are horrible... I had a 85, it was a great car, then a 95 v6 with a stick, what a fun car. The 11, i drove one, the steering is that electric crap where you don't feel the road, the handling isn't as good as the 85. The doors don't make that thud noise they used to make when you closed them. The brakes feel like mush, the accelerator doesn't register unless you push it to a certain point then it jerks forward, the quality of the product feels cheap, not only the look.

The 1990 LE V6 is gorgeous, Toyota Camrys are the best. I highly respect Toyota because i know they made high quality, reliable and tough cars. Honda Accord are excellent cars too.
