Republicans in the state of Iowa will gather today to cast their vote in the caucuses that will largely impact the presidential race, and all eyes are on Ron Paul as the Texas Congressman holds the lead in the polls.

Following the bow out of Herman Cain and a schizophrenic surge up and down in the popularity of his peers, Rep. Ron Paul has rocketed to the forefront of the Republican Party in recent week, passing the competing gang of politicians also vying for the nomination. By Tuesday night, America will know the results of the Iowa Caucuses and could indeed have a clear idea of who could take the GOP's nomination and perhaps eventually the presidency.
The last few surveys conducted by the Des Moines Register and Public Policy Polling put Paul either above the other frontrunners or neck-and-neck at first place. The Iowa caucus, the first among many during the presidential election year, have historically played a role in the rest of the race leading up to November.

On Monday, Rep. Paul acknowledged the skyrocketing support that could propel him to victory today, but stayed strong in backing his word and the campaign promises he's made

@Mackberserk It's easy to say that those people attacked us simply because of the freedoms we enjoy every day. The truth is that they attacked us because we prop up their Dictators with money and weaponry, to say otherwise is ridiculous. If Iran had nukes(which by all accounts they are no where near achieving according to the CIA) and tried to attack Israel, Israel would bomb them back. It's called mutually assured destruction, which is why Russia/China haven't attacked us...

Scare tactics work on people too easily. Even if Iran is really developing nuclear power (for energy or for military), Israel by itself totally out-powers Iran since Israel already has hundreds of nukes and a well-trained, efficient, and zealous military. Iran is divided, weak, and decrepit military-wise. These terror tactics that people use to encourage war and conflict will only unite the Iranians. What we should do is to weaken Iran rather than weakening ourselves by giving into fear tactics.

Those neo-imperialistic multi-national companies are deffended by the US and the EU.

EU is falling apart due to that,people are desperate,no job,no money,you cant survive without those 2 things in a capitalist society.

Look at Belorussia,they are the only guys in Europe who actually dont have that huge unemployment,why?Bcz response to financial crisis caused by capistalists is only cured by massive nationalization.You do not need to nationalize everything,only industry and other key things.
