The ShellGuilty campaign is running this ad in New York City before Shell goes on trial for human rights abuses, including complicity in the executions of Ken Saro-Wiwa and eight other Nigerian activists, in New York City in late May. Saro-Wiwa and the other activists led a nonviolent movement against Shell's toxic gas flares in Nigeria. Unfortunately, Shell still continues its practice of gas flaring today. Our ads are part of a broader campaign to hold Shell accountable and demand that they stop flaring.
