2010 FIRST Robotics Competition BOSTON, FRC. The final round of the FIRST Robotics Regional Competition held at the Agganis Arena at Boston University, Cambridge Massachusetts, March 27, 2010. This year's game was "Breakaway". An alliance of three teams competes against another such alliance on a 27-by-54-foot playing field containing two sets of goals. Points are scored by shooting soccer balls into the goals, and bonus points are earned for lifting and holding itself above the playing surface, or off another robot. Over fifty high school teams competed for honors and recognition that reward robot design excellence, competitive play and sportsmanship.

  • I was on 88 for this regional, and I can definitely say these were the most intense matches I have even been a part of. Thanks to our partners 1922 and 1768, and great job to 1511, 383 and 2648 for putting up such a close fight!
