Here is the setup my friend uses to clean corn with to use in a corn burner. It starts with 225 bushel in the gravity wagon and is extracted using a 6 hp shop vac. It will go through a Corn-Vac cleaner to remove dust and other small debris on the corn which goes into the shop vac. The rest falls into the bucket; once the bucket is full, turn the shop vac off and it will release all the corn from the bucket and it will fall through the Shur-Kleen to remove smaller kernels. All the clean corn then falls into another bucket.

  • What is flapper made of? what size is hole and how is flapper attached?

  • @rob60468 The flapper is nothing more than an old rubber floormat. It is attached to the bucket with 3 self tapping screws. The hole diameter is 3.5-4 inches wide.

  • Very Neat! Where do you find all the buckets

  • My buddies dad has acquired them over the years. Trust me, there are many more that you are not seeing in the vid.

  • Thanks for the reply; will give it a go. HousbinPharteen1--in north central Illinois I have not been successful in finding seed companies which had corn available. I have some health concerns about burning treated corn though salesman of corn stove says there is nothing to worry about.

  • Man it would cost a million dollars for buckets! Why not use clean corn to begin with. Untreated seed corn is clean, bigger, and you can pick it up in bags from your local seed company. If you have a corn furnace you can use treated corn, because if the corn does not make germination they dispose of it anyways and would prob take a low low price for it. Just be careful with it.

  • I'm famous.
