Cop Puts Innocent Man In Coma - Called Tragic Accident?

Video released 05/21/09 shows a burly King County sheriff's deputy slamming a man into a tiled wall earlier this month in what a sheriff's spokesman said was "a tragic accident." A lawyer for the family of 29-year-old Christopher Harris said the video and witness accounts show the Edmonds restaurant worker was a victim of excessive force by Deputy Matthew Paul, 26. As of late Thursday, Harris remained comatose and in critical condition at Harborview Medical Center, said Todd Keeling, his stepfather.

wow. i really don;t know what to say about this other than if John Uquhart thinks what the officer did is acceptable due to probable cause then someone should detain him in a similar manner for inciting violence and conspiracy. Officer Matt Paul -in jail for manslaughter. The father of the victim said he didn't why his son was running. I think it was because there was a severely unhinged man with a gun running at him. The problem I have is the guy is stopping, and the way he was roughed up after being knocked out. I mean at some point after he shoved him into the wall. The officer should have realized how bad he hurt the guy. WHo knows how much damage he did after the initial blow?

The guy is still paralyzed to this date. He'll never be able to walk, talk or feed himself. Sometimes, this can be worse than death. I hope the cop will get the same fate.
