  • I always wondered why the Connies remaidned using the three-bladed prop, after the DC-7 used the four-bladed propellers. My understanding is that they both used the same Wright R-3350 Cyclone 18 Duplex eighteen cylinder, radial, air-cooled Turbo-Compound engines.
