@GunOwnerDan None MG owners I know would care -- they would just get more MGs.

To liberals, full auto means this: 80$ Ak-47's flooding the streets that have nuclear mach-10 cop/baby-seeking bullets that also kill the rainforest and dolphins if you sneeze while holding one or even look at it funny.
Imagine a triangle: One side is the Gov't, one side is criminals, and one side is honest civilians. Criminals will have full auto, the Gov't will... until normal civilians can, the triangle will always be collapsed, crushing the honest man with the unfair disadvantage.

Convince them don't ridicule them. If they think you hate them then they will never let us have what we want, remember we need them to vote for it as well.

Is the $300 a year a state thing? I haven't heard of that.

Suppressive fire implies 'mass fire' and stray bullets, but your point is absolutely valid who cares what happens to the bad guy as long as he/she loses the ability to harm you or your family. I would not want to be near a b.g. if someone pulled out a Mac11 to stop him, too easy to get off target, now if he’s standing in a corn field and shooting at me then an RPG would be appropriate. Sidenote: If you’re the KelTec photo guy beautiful work and I'm thoroughly jealous.

@freehling420 "Assault Style weapons" are used in less than 1 percent of crime. legal autos used in crimes since 1934 number I believe 2 incidents of murder with legal full autos of which one was done by a police officer. quite the baby killers eh?

And another thing — you can buy AND open-carry PDW's in the state of Washington. Perfectly legal. You just have to pay the the governmafia its extortion money (tax stamp for the PDW under the NFA). Once that's done you can open carry it here. However, you're virtually guaranteed that someone will call the cops if anyone sees you open carry it, and who the fuck likes talking to cops, so the best thing is she should just learn to shoot a Glock 26 and carry that, loaded with +P hollowpoints.

Doesn't matter. She couldn't conceal a PDW anyway, especially in the tight clothes most women wear. She would have to carry it off-body with the stock folded — no time to deploy the stock in an emergency. When people carry, they should only carry on-body in a proper holster. Concealed or open, carrying in one place all the time and always using a holster is the proper and most effective way (with training & practice). Can't do that with a PDW unless you open-carry it.
MP7 or vz61 fit fine under a jacket. And concealed carry isn't the only use for such -- for home defense, a suppressed submachine gun is easier on the ears and the shoulder than a 12ga pump.

The law abiding american will never be trusted completely. Especially with automatic weapons, except for money. Anyone who has the cash can get any firearm they want, but its at a price. Honestly though, making a gun full auto does nothing but spray lead, except for those few trained or well practiced people who truly know how to use them. Even though legal automatic weapons cause less then 1percent of gun crimes in the US, they wont ever be legal because of political fear.

@freehling420 Submachine guns are easy to control. The woman in this video has never shot one before but did quite well. She had no trouble keeping 2-4 round bursts on the center of a 25m target. That's precisely why they are so popular with bodyguards, police and other non-military users.

@olegvolk Self-defense is about suppressive fire. Most people don't really care if they kill a mugger or not, they just want to get away.
