Whoopi was only right about Rush and not the party, all the others were whack. Rush has a platform and does the same crap that Rosie did or Joy does now on the view. Elizabeth explained it just like Mike Steele did, Rush is not the party leader instead he is an entertainer or radio personality. He holds no office, he is not a politician and is a political commentator. The REP put great ideas out and have challenged Bush more than any DEM, Obama had locked them out. Same as Bush. I dislike both.

The billions spent in Iraq and Afghanistan, the runaway spending, the tax cuts for those who don't need them are all GOP wet dreams that they gleefully pushed through. Bush was sworn in in January 2001 and his party controlled Congress until 2006. This isn't terribly complicated stuff.

Congress controls spending (not the president) during bush's presidency (that the liberals say caused the deficit) the congress was a majority democrat meaning they controlled the outrageous spending that got us into this crisis, and obamas failing to fix it.
