The first production model of the TurboTrain, being tested at the Rapido factory on 29 May 2008. All issues have been solved. This sample shows a 9-car VIA Turbo. Note that for the purposes of this test all 7 Intermediate Cars are IC-33 TurboClub cars. The actual VIA Turbo has two IC-33 TurboClub cars, two IC-31 TurboCafe cars, and three IC-30/34/35 TurboCoach cars. The first production models will arrive at the Rapido warehouse in Toronto in August 2008. FINALLY!

@UtahJazz1Fan Nope. Just CN, Amtrak, Via, and Penn Central. They weren't that popular.

@NarAgs471 The train in the video is the Rapido TurboTrain, which is in HO scale. You are correct that MTH is making an O scale Turbo, but that is not what is in this video.

an idea for people who have the turbo train--make one track for the turbo only and the other for non-turbo.

It's in HO scale (1/87)!

Great video - what scale is this? I remember seeing something like this on ebay here in the UK once - was it some kind of high-speed experiment? It looks mean!
