Sunday Live host Julie Gichuru interviewed Philip Kisia , Town Clerk - Nairobi on disaster management in the city and also provision of services by the city council.
What do you expect of a country with priorities like PM's office,Harambee hse ll,more money for greedy MP's and not a cent for fire engines, water and sanitation?
@siasabora 5 Fire Engines?? 2 Fire stations?? For a population of 3 million? Wow. Compare ... Boston City has 640,000 people over only 120 square kilometers.. while Nairobi has 3 million people over perhaps 400 square kilometers... but Boston has 34 fire stations, 34 fire engines, 23 ladders, 2 fire boats, 2 rescue vehicles etc.. etc.. plus EMS cars... surely, Nairobi is run by a stone age city hall...
