Model Town Lahore.AVI

Lahore most popular residential area which had houses built as far back as mid- 1800, has its own grandeur. But a lot has changed since I use to visit the town from 1958 through 1970 where my mother's elder sister lived in 76-D.

Model Town has also been home for many famous political figures--including the former Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Nawaz Sharif.

I agree with you about the ambiance, the peaceful atmosphere and serenity MODEL TOWN had..which is all gone now:(

I was there in Lahore again last week and again took time out to visit this wonder place of yesteryears where I only found SMOG, CONGESTED TRAFFIC and a certain fear prevailant upon the faces of people...

Sir Time kay sath buhat kuch badal jata hay insan kahan say kahan chala jata hay.. Maslan ajj app Corola par ghom rahay hain . pahlay app kay pass Bike ho ge if i am not wrong :) well. Time say sab kuch badal jata hay.

lakin aik batt app ke mujay achey lagey kay app apny porani bateen yad kar kay buhat kush ho rahay hain or app Pakistan say buhat muhabat bhi kartay hain.

Finally Lahore jasa koi city na ho ga. kash ham sab Pakistan ke qadar karna seekh lain.

Dear Sir

My grandfathe Lala kishori lal Sagar built 2 house in Model town Lahore.In b block and a block.

Lala Kishori lal Sagar was civil engineer in the britsh period until 1947.Lala kishori lal Sagar worked in Bhawalpurditrick also on canal system wich is closed to model town area.I remember in failmy often they talk about hoses in model town.I wanted to see some view of model town.Thank you of your video about model town wich gives me a glimt of the time my grandfather lived and worked there.

Nice video of my town and city, i miss my Lahore model town and hope i will go back to visit very soon.

One thing, i want to say is that with time all old building and places always change.I think the new model town is also very beautifull.
