As I came up to Broadview one afternoon, I saw a crowd of people waiting for streetcars. About 5 minutes later, 4000 (dead car) and 4021 come through the 505 track coupled up. It just so happened that the next in service car behind the two was 4246, with 4200 two cars later on the 504.

Sun angles sucks this video. I was pretty pissed off. Oh well.

  • I saw this happen a few weeks ago on King st at dufferin except it was an alrv behind a clrv.

  • I used to see CLRV/ALRV MUs a lot when the Don Valley bridge was close along Queen Street.

  • Thought 4000 was a live car.

  • Ehh... 4000 was the dead car. 4043 was pushing it.

  • Ah, so they use draw bars and MU jumpers now instead of couplers. Hope SEPTA doesn't get any bright ideas from this!!
