the draw of the military is a guaranteed job, a nice signing bonus, and travel...that is what the recruiters tell people who want to sign up...and then when you are done you get to go to school for free...its a very attractive offer...but you don't really know about all the pitfalls until you have already signed your contract...I am actually an advocate of military service but I am also an advocate of being fully informed as to what you are joining...stories like these need to be told

exactly. why would women sign up for the army, 90% suffer sexual harrasment, 1/4 are raped...and nobody hardly ever comes to justice, they have even raped n killed young women smh

I think the army should stop enlisting people or it shouldn't be allowed to enlist young women. If women cannot be safe in the army, then why go over and fight for the country who refuses to protect you and does not care if you get raped, beaten, and murdered. Why cover it up, so the people who did this are probably walking around right now, so that means we are really not safe. We have to find out who did this and either put them away for life or give them the death penalty.
