I bet this is a lot of a steeper slope than the video can convey.

That was awesome, the deep breath and wiper part for whatever reason made me LOL. Nice climb

Hi Dan - Our 1988 V8 coped with everything we had this winter 2009/10. While the old girl may be past her best, with Grabber AT2s fitted which are rated snow tyres no worries. Worth a thought or perhaps some Goodrige ATs ? As you say tyres are a big factor.
Intresting to see the feed back on how the gizmos worked. I will stick with the Classic for now., the RRs open diff worked a treat. I watched you other footage with HDC, etc. Of course it was not u filming I hope ;)
Excellent.

@stormrangey
I'd already driven up it with ease a couple of times, but wanted to play and see how well DSC, ETC and HDC performed. Even with barely legal tyres it was fine.

should have gunned it all the way up, i got stuck in a seat ibiza FR fwd, ended up hitting a slope at 60 n hoped for the best, it worked and mine were virtually slicks,

The only problems are tyre.
My old RR 4.6 are equipped with winter tyre and I have no problem with snow.
Even if the weight would work against the correct tyre (like Nokian winter) are the right choice.

I had barely legal goodyear wranglers, they were the worst tyres for any weather I've ever used!
