  • Dude, you're a beast, keep up the good work, I'm gonna start planting trees everywhere, save our planet.

  • Mike,

Thanks for the response. I will try your method with bur oak. Wish me luck. I am also trying to graft a bur oak as well. Do you know what I can use for root stock? Thank you so much. Keep the videos coming.

  • @tommymiller66 I've had some success with bur, live, and laurel oaks, but you have to use new growth only. I tried using matured branches but I got nothing every time. the cuttings have to be green and not woody like the rest of the tree. Hope this helps and good luck

  • Good informative video. Is your propagation method also apply to fruit trees and fruit shrubs like all edible berries?

  • can you do this with bur oak trees?

  • Thank you very much for the information. I am going to try this. You were very clear and made it simple to do. Thanks again.

  • Thanks for your valuable time, Mike. I hope all of those CNN reporters talks loud and clear like how you deliver your instructions. Those female reporters are nice to look at, and sexy, too. But, does not speak clear ly like what you did...and they're native-born Americans. I will start your method of propagations from cuttings this coming June, July, August and maybe September here in Houston. I'll start with our fruit-bearing Japanese Loquat.

  • Can you do brambles this way. i am looking for a way to increase my plants by hundreds asap

  • i've always wanted to know these things, ty ...i just put some apple seeds in soil, maybe i'll be using these tips down the road :)

  • will this work on blueberry cuttings too?
