Utah exports an example for U.S.

Exports are an important part of Utahs economy, totaling over $10.3 billion dollars per year each of the past two years. In fact, last year, Utah was the only state to see an increase in our overall export figures.

Today, the World Trade Center Utah welcomed Ro Khanna, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Domestic Operations for the U.S. & Foreign Commercial Service. Khanna spoke to a group of business leaders about President Obamas National Export Initiative (NEI), which sets the goal of doubling exports over the next five years.
