Olympic "Stories"

Chicago native filmmaker Steve James, director of "Hoop Dreams", "Stevie", and many other great films and documentaries, was hired by the Chicago Olympic Committee to direct this short film to help keep Chicago in the running for the 2016 Olympic Games.

It's pretty cool. The athletes are all real people. I like the boxer the best.

The rower around 1:00 has pretty poor bladework. His catch is really not pretty to look at, with the common flaw of not raising his hands at the catch and at the right time. If you look at how he draws the blade through the stroke, because of this poor catch, the movement is not horizontal and I haven't even started talking about his finishing into his lap...

Then again he could probably shit on me in a 2k.

@bla7091 Son, rowing isn't about showing off to others, it's about winning, even if no one is watching. When you're at the stakeboats of a race, you're prepared to die but it's all for your crew to win.
