Between '80-'83 there were Guild guitar & bass ads with Allen, Gary, Barry & Leon and another ad with just Allen sporting a beard and yet another out-there, angular guitar. I'm sure these ads can be found somewhere on the internet.

yep for awhile theres a famous photo of him down on one knee on stage with his guitar...the only one I know of...

To be" Totally Honest" I MOST Favor The RCB Album "Anytime,Anyplace,Anywhere" album MORE than MOST Lynskynyrd Albums! Sorry! No I AM NOT FUCKING SORRY!" RCB ROCKS!!! DK ROCKS! Yea! Skynyrd ALSO ROCKS! But WHY should it be a CRIME to LOVE the BAND That was the "Lifeblood" of my favorite band? Is THAT a CRIME? I worked with Dale prior to her involvement wiith Rossington -Collins . Just an ordinary job no music involved. I always knew she was destined for greatness.. She just had it, she radiated joy, even in an ordinary pay the rent kind of job. She is still the same sweet person she was when I worked with her in the mid 70s.. we had fun and she was just a naturally kind person

He was in a self-destructin time and has a crash on tree driving drunk... He was paralized in legs and was responsabilized by the girlfriend´s death of him... saddly he died in 1989 by pneumonie

you can see Allen with a beard in the DVD Tribute Tour (the reunion show). he appears to support the band but didn´t play in stage...
