Between '80-'83 there were Guild guitar & bass ads with Allen, Gary, Barry & Leon and another ad with just Allen sporting a beard and yet another out-there, angular guitar. I'm sure these ads can be found somewhere on the internet.

@Juicefani11 you can see Allen with a beard in the DVD Tribute Tour (the reunion show). he appears to support the band but didn´t play in stage...
