Bette is having a hard time dealing with with her new love interest, Jodi, because she is apparently as tough as she is. Tina comes over to talk to Bette about her shortcomings from an ex's perspective......and makes it painfully obvious that she misses her as a life partner. Even after all the acrimony, shouting and arguing, Bette & Tina find ways to reconnect........taken from Season 4, Episode 4, "Literary License To Kill"

@tiffany10001: True that......Bette became less aggressive while Tina became more aggressive.....that needed to happen. If Candace hadn't come into the picture they probably would have separated for some other reason. It sucked seeing them have to break up, get back together, break up again, go separate directions with different significant others....but them coming back together was heartwarming considering everything they went through. Tibette forever and always.....

@knight7se7en well you have ,a point on that Bette didnt have an affair with Kelly, and let Tina go out and do her own thing instead of making her stay in Los Angles to be with her at her gallery opening. Thats what makes tibette tibette, moments like that that make u fall in love with them

@tiffany10001: Well Kelly did come on to Bette in Season 6 and she turned her down. I don't think Bette is perfect when it comes to fidelity.......but I still say she grew alot from Season 1. I highly doubt that Season 6 Bette would have fallen into an affair with Candace during Season 1.

@knight7se7en your right again im huge tibette fan and im glad that they got together however i fail to see how bette really changed. I know i see a little change in her i mean shes more willing to let tina take charge sometimes, and to listen to her partner. However dont u think bette could be hey i cheated on my partner the first time and it blew up in my face..

@tiffany10001: Again, I'm not saying that the second time it was any better......and I'm definitely not granting Tibette a reprieve....though it is ironic that they reunited through an affair when one considers that they got together initially through an affair. All I'm saying is that the two affairs were different, and the common denominator (Bette) underwent a major transformation from Season 1. It's part of the reason I prefer Season 6 Tibette to Season 1 Tibette.

@tiffany10001: There's a huge difference between the two affairs. Bette cheated on Tina in Season 1 because she felt like she was growing more distant and sought affection elsewhere in Candace. She didn't know how to talk to Tina about the fact that they were out of touch. Bette cheated on Jodi in Season 5 because she reconnected with Tina.....it had absolutely NOTHING to do with Jodi in any way, shape or form. Truth be told, the relationship between Jodi and Bette was great.

@knight7se7en im still a tibette fan dont get me wrong but i gotta agree with jennifer on this one, i mean honestly i dont see a difference from bettes affair with candice and tina, i also dont like tinas behavior on this one. i understand that they both love each other and they are meant for one another but tina should know how it must feel to have the one u love go behind her back, im just saying tina doesnt like things done to her but to other people its ok u see my point

@tiffany10001: I agree with you that what Bette & Tina did to Jodi was jacked up.....but like I said it was kinda softened by the re-union of one of the best couples on television.

I don't agree with you (or Jennifer Beals even though I love her) that Bette didn't learn anything. Season 1 Bette and Season 5/6 Bette are two markedly different people. Past that, I wouldn't liken her affair with TIna in Season 5 to her affair with Candace in Season 1.....again, markedly different.

@knight7se7en right ive seen the enitre bette and jodi relationship and i just cant see what jodi did to deserve that even jennifer beals the actress that plays bette says that hasnt her charcter learned anything....

@tiffany10001: Agreed. Even though I like Bette & Tina together more than Bette & Jodi together, Jodi wasn't a bad person at all.......it was kinda jacked up what happened to her
