This was 1986 ... Gary Hogue & Junior Knight ... I recently found out from a friend that while Gary had my original video of this session in his possession, he had combined my video with a tape that was also shot by Jack & Phyllis Perkins, but he accidentally recorded over mine, so my tape ended up becoming a "hybrid" of both videos. I'm not sure which songs on my tape are the ones I shot or the ones that the Perkins shot (we were both videoing from very similar angles). There's a tiny little clip at the end of this song which makes me pretty sure that this was one of the songs the Perkins shot, but ended up on my tape when Gary combined the two videos together. I like the way Junior makes Gary look over and smile when he does that little Del Mullen lick at around 0:14 in the song.

i love him so much! (Junior Knight) And for the non-believers who dont believe I"m his granddaughter, wait, Im going to post a video of me and him in his studio!

  • What is also interesting here is at the end of this clip, you will see my father Jack Perkins sitting at a steel guitar goofing off in Charlie's store. Please change the description that is our tag in this video where you claim that you recorded this because it is a lie.

  • People should get to see Gary & Junior together, but it is incredibly inconsiderate of you to claim that you are the sole proprietor of this material. Credit should be given to whom it is due, my parents Jack & Phyliis Perkins both long time members of the TSGA.

  • First of all, I will start by saying that you did not record this video and I would know this because my mother Phyllis Perkins did. This video was also shot more around 1988 or 1989. Not 1984. I have no issue that you have taken the time to convert my family's home video to show online.

  • yeahhhaaa!!!!! i love this one..another great Crying steel guitar Heroes..

  • maybe it's me but i hear a little John Hughey in there.

  • Awesome!
