I dislocated my finger trying to steal home. The finger got bent back so far that the skin in front of the knuckle tore. This video shows the emergency tech squirting saline into the cut to clean it out (after they popped the finger back). About halfway through the video, you can see that he gets a blood clot or something out of there, cuz it starts bleeding more.
