@glumpot Indeeeed, and THEN, they also have the audacity to warn us when cartoons are not going to be politically correct because things were different back then, like when they have Mammy TwoShoes or whatever, but they don't put these advisories on old movies that had the same kinds of stereotypes in their characters.

It's kind of funny when you think about it... Networks aren't allowed to show cartoons where animals are hurt, even if they aren't killed, but we have reality shows where we can watch people eat an animals beating heart, and shows where we can watch people being massacred...

today they are trying to make everything look real, and in doing so they miss the point. cartoons arn't meant to be real, that's why they are cartoons, that's why they are fun!

@Taurus01979 Yeah, and the bird drinking. And spanking the tree.. And other animal violence. Not that I was bothered by any of this, but simply that people were both cautious of what was on T.V. back then and because of the way people are now with what is on T.V. There are so many contradictions that it's crazy. Cursing and sex isn't allowed, but I can watch some guy shove his gun into another guy's mouth and see brain's fly everywhere? Everything is a contradiction these days.
